Hi, I’m Stuart, and this is Mark. We’ve been clients of Plan First Wealth since early 2022, primarily working with Richard Taylor and Martha Kern when we started.

We’d lived in different parts of the world; we had different pension plans in the US, Europe, and the UK, and our financial landscape was getting a little bit complicated. So, I felt we needed to talk to somebody who understood cross-border financial matters.

What led us to speak to Plan First Wealth in the first place was that we wanted to be reassured that we had the right plan in place and needed help with that to make sure that we were secure in retirement.

I heard about Plan First Wealth through an internet search. By Googling “financial advisers” and “cross-border financial advisers”, their name popped up. Looking at the website, they seemed like the perfect people to talk to.

We picked Plan First Wealth primarily because they are from the UK, and Richard, being an expat, has experience of the same kind of situation that we’re in, so that closely met what we were looking for.

Working with James and the team gives me a great deal of reassurance and calmness because they’re generally interested in us as people, not only through our financial matters, but they also show a real level of interest in what we’re doing with our lives and what we’re planning on doing when we both retire.
